About the AS-D2
Made in Japan from high grade stainless steel with a matte finish. The razor comes in a lacquered Feather branded presentation box, inside is a certificate which lists the serial number of your razor, a complimentary packet of 5 Feather razor blades and your razor. Frankly, double edge safety razors don’t get any better than this beauty.
It’s made from the same stainless steel and shares the same head as the AS-D2 but with a dark coloured hardwood handle. Water and wood seldom work well together in the long term but Feather has overcome this issue by impregnating the wood with resin which keeps it watertight and protects the wood from scratches and wear. The WS-D1S comes with a matching stainless steel and hardwood stand.
