Taylors Peppermint Shaving Cream, good value for money and it lathers up easily. Nicely cooling on the skin with a pleasant but not overpowering minty scent.

An after shave lotion or balm should soothe cool and moisturise the skin, we have two in particular that are highly recommended for summer.
We highly rate Scottish Fine Soaps Thistle & Black Pepper After Shave Balm but it's not half as cooling as Fitjar Folgefonn Aftershave Cooling Gel, this is the one for me in the summer. Even in the heat of Spain in July last year it left me refreshed and cooled, it dries in almost instantly and leaves no oily residue on the face. Pleasingly it contains only natural products and it's suitable for all skin types.

Snake Bite contains no fragrance other than a very mild menthol scent that dissipates after a few minutes, this means you can apply a favoured cologne and not have to worry about a clash of scents.
