Most men enjoy splashing on a nicely scented Aftershave Lotion after a wet shave. As well as leaving you nicely scented, it helps to cool and tone the skin and kill off any bacteria.

Modern day aftershaves tend to have low alcohol content with many now using natural vegetable alcohol, which doesn’t burn like synthetic alcohol does. Using an aftershave will help tone the skin and leave freshly shaved skin refreshed, toned and lightly fragranced.

Our very own Duine Fon Choill (Scottish for Outlaw), is scented with citrus and bergamot which go well with almost any shaving cream and shaving soap. For a real ‘wake me up’ sensation in the morning try out the Extro Cosmesi Freddo aftershave or the incredible Fine Snake Bite aftershave, these contain menthol which certainly cools freshly shaved skin.

For men who suffer from sensitive skin problems, we advise alcohol-free aftershaves such as Jermyn Street for sensitive skin aftershave from Taylor of Old Bond Street or an aftershave balm. An aftershave balm is a good alternative to a traditional aftershave that will contain alcohol. An aftershave balm will cool and soothe the skin and leave your skin fully moisturised.
