Martin de Candre

Martin de Candre is a French artisan soap manufacturer that has been producing the finest shaving soaps since 1974. Located in the stunning French countryside, just outside the town of Fontevraud-l’Abbaye, in northwest France, they have preserved the local soap making skills and techniques that have almost died out elsewhere. Using the Marseilles hot process soap making method to craft their unique range of soaps they use only natural vegetable oils and essential oils to make and fragrance their soaps.

Martin de Candre shaving soap is very highly regarded around the world. Indeed, according to many wet shavers, it is the ‘Rolls Royce’ of the shaving soap world.
