The Vintage Gillette Slim is much sought after, it's highly reliable, beautifully made and a wonderful shaver. Stamped 'MADE IN USA L3 Reg US PAT OFF'. L3 is coding, L tells us the razor was made in 1966 and 3 confirms the razor was made in the third quarter of that year.
This particular razor has been stripped down, had the original plating chemically removed and each part has been replated in shiny nickel, this razor looks brand new, it's flawless.
It was a Gillette Slim that James used in the 1964 movie Goldfinger.
This razor works perfectly, the adjustment mechanism clicks reassuringly into place, the Twist to Open (TTO) doors open and close exactly as they should. The black paint that highlights the adjusting numbers is 100% present.
It is in superb condition and is fully restored. 100% shave ready.
