The Razor:

To insert a blade into the razor, twist the handle to separate the three elements (handle, base plate and top cap). Place the blade over the post and notches on the top cap. Place the base plate onto the top cap back and screw in to the handle. 

We recommend you shave at around a 30° angle and apply little pressure when you shave. Stretch the skin as much as possible, shave in short strokes of 25-30mm and rinse your razor regularly between strokes. Shave with the grain of the hair and then once across the grain, reapplying the lather in between passes.

To take the best care of your razor, rinse with warm water after each use. Use warm soapy water to clean when required, using a soft nail brush to remove any stubborn debris. Slightly lubricate the mechanical parts regularly and do not overtighten any screws.

The Brush:

Prepare your brush by soaking it in warm water or run it under the tap until it absorbs enough water to kickstart the lathering of the cream or soap.

If using a shaving cream, plop an amount of shaving cream into your bowl and using your slightly wet shaving brush, whip the cream up into a mass of rich, creamy lather. Paint the lather into your bristles and shave as normal.

With a shaving soap, place the soap in the lathering bowl and swirl the wet brush on top of the soap puck until you feel a little resistance coming from the soap. Paint the lather into your bristles and shave as normal.
