Open Comb Double Edged Safety Razor

Unlike the closed comb safety razor, the open comb double-edged safety razor features a unique design with a row of teeth beneath the razor blade. These teeth guide and position beard hairs, facilitating more effective cutting without clogging. Open comb razors are more aggressive than closed comb razors, providing a closer shave with fewer passes, reducing irritation. The open comb design allows shaving debris and lather to pass through, preventing blade clogging and making it ideal for occasional shavers.

We only recommend open comb razors to the more experienced wet shaver.

Adjustable Double Edged Safety Razor

An adjustable safety razor allows you to choose how close or mild you'd like your shave to be during the shave. most adjustable razors have a knob or dial on the handle which allows you to increase or decrease the blade gap of the razor head. This will either increase or decrease the closeness of the shave.
