Parker HHST Large Silvertip Badger Hair Shaving Brush Faux Horn

Star RatingStar Rating Read 1 review

£58.00

Quantity: In Stock

Packed with high quality, super-soft Silvertip Badger Hair this is an awesome, large size shaving brush. It's weighty too at a reassuring 120g, this is a man's brush no doubt about that. The handle look very much like real horn while the chrome plated base offers a visually stunning contrast to the horn effect. The highly polished handle is cleverly designed so your fingers can grip the chrome plated base. The overall look and feel of this brush and the Silvertip hair belies its very reasonable price tag. This brush comes with a free plastic stand and a presentation box.
The Parker logo is proudly displayed on the handle.

As I am new to safety razor shaving I wanted to stick to a budget and bought this brush purely for the weight and because I'd read up on badger brushes, this one is silvertip. But you get what you pay for... It's soft and doesn't feel densely packed. When lathering my creme, the bristles start clumping together exposing big gaps running right down into the brush. I've also noticed some bristle loss over the 5-6 times I've used it although I clean it properly. Forward 5 weeks, I've now bought a Simpsons brush almost 3x the price and just through visual comparison I can see a huge difference. Look forward to leaving a review on that one soon!
