Quantity: In Stock (Amount in stock 10+)

This budget paddle strop is great value. Unlike the more expensive Thiers-Issard paddle strops it is perfect if you are new to cut throat razor shaving.

This hollowed body, leather and wood paddle strop flexes when pressure is applied to it.
This flexing helps you when stropping a cut throat razor, ensuring you cannot apply too much pressure and damage the cutting edge of the razor.
Made of wood and leather this hand held paddle strop is two sided with fine finish leather.
Keep one side free from from contamination from strop paste.
Suitable also for putting the finishing touches to chef's knives and woodworking tools.

Easy to use, I like how it flexes (as described by Executive Shaving). The woodwork could be better finished I had a small varnish run on my handle but that aside I am happy with this strop.

As my first strop can't compare quality to others. Watched lots of videos on how to apply the yellow paste but the leather seems so dry I used 1/4 of the tube to do one side. A little paste didn't spread out too well. Maybe I did it wrong I've no idea.
