Using a shaving brush also lifts the whiskers off the face which leads to a closer shave. This fine shaving brush is made using 'Best Badger Hair' making it ideal as an everyday brush or as a gift to yourself or someone special in your life.
High grade, best badger hair.
HOW TO USE
Wet the brush in warm water, flick off excess water. Gently swirl the brush in shaving cream or soap and create a rich, creamy lather.
Paint the lather onto your bearded area. Don't splay the brush hairs.
Once finished, rinse the brush under running water, flick excess water off, gently dab dry with a towel and store the brush upside down on the stand where air can circulate around the brush.
Never use hot water on the brush. Hot water will damage the hair and can lead to the hair expanding and splitting the handle.
Nice brush, good value for money, very soft good with my shaving cream (castle forbes)
Looks good but for me it was too floppy for a Best Badger Hair Brush, Best brushes should have a stiif backbone to them.
2 day delivery from Scotland to England - wow!
Pound for pound, this is the best brush I have bought and I must have bought at least 7 in the past 5 years. The bristles are high grade Best badger yet they look identical to my Simpson Polo which has Super grade hair. The handle sits well in the hand. The best bit is the density of the hair is very good. The combination of density and soft hairs is the key to a good brush. At this price every wet shaver should have one.
Needed a replacement for my old brush so I bought this one. Been using badgers for some time now, as they are the only ones that do the job for my dense, thick stubble. The colour of the hair kinda looks like the Super badger brush but I'm no expert. The tips are soft, but the backbone in combination with being short and wide makes working in the bowl and on the face very easy with minimal pressure. I've had more dense brushes, but this does the job well for me and if you take into account the price and the included drip stand, it is quite difficult to beat for your everyday brush.
I like Brian and the team. You get good advice from real people. When I said I had not shaved with a brush for nearly 40 years Brian encouraged me to give it a try. It takes a couple of minutes longer and at the moment I don't use it every day - but it is definitely the best. I use it with Castle Forbes cream and Exec Shaving Pre Shave Oil. I am going to try the Castle Forbes water based pre shave next. I am spoiling myself a bit and suggest you do too! (PS The Posh is ironic!)
