Martin de Candre is a French artisan soap manufacturer that has been producing the finest toilet and shaving soaps since 1974. Located in the stunning French countryside, just outside the town of Fontevraud-l’Abbaye, in northwest France, they have preserved the local soap making skills and techniques that have almost died out elsewhere. Using the Marseilles hot process soap making method to craft their unique range of soaps they use only natural vegetable oils and essential oils to make and fragrance their soaps.
Martin de Candre shaving soap is very highly regarded around the world. Indeed, according to many wet shavers, it is the ‘Rolls Royce’ of the shaving soap world. Fougere (Fern) – Limited Edition
The Fougere shaving soap is a limited-edition soap, Martin de Candre have informed us that they will stop producing this soap sometime in 2019, get one while you still can. This premium, luxury, handmade soap has a fragrance made from twelve essential oils. As soon as you swirl your shaving brush on the surface of this soap you know this is no ordinary shaving soap.
