Arran Sense of Scotland was for many years known as Arran Aromatics. Arran Sense of Scotland is Scotland's leading manufacturer of luxury toiletries, lifestyle products and gifts, delivered in a range of exclusive fragrances. They rebranded from Arran Aromatics to Arran Sense of Scotland in late 2016.
Arran Sense of Scotland scented candles, shower gels and shaving products are highly popular with both Executive Shaving staff and customers.
History of Arran Sense of Scotland
Arran Sense of Scotland have been making specialist body care products on the Isle of Arran, just off the west coast of Scotland, since 1988. Founded by the Russell family, the premises at The Home Farm were purchased in January 1989. Thier first products were made on site a few months later and consisted of just one range of toiletries and associated products.
Today, Arran Sense of Scotland produce some 250 items across 6 distinct ranges, including triple milled vegetable soaps, bath gels and shower gels.
Their men’s shaving collections consist of the popular Machrie Sea Salt & Rockrose and Patchouli & Anise fragrances.
Arran Sense of Scotland’s vision is simple; ‘to make the best products we possibly can in order to enrich the lives of the people who use them’. In order to achieve this, all the toiletries in their ranges are made on the island, using the finest, most natural ingredients available.
Machrie, Sea Salt & Rockrose Fragrance
The Machrie fragrance is a clean, crisp, refreshing scent that balances light, yet intense ingredients including Sea Salt, Labdanum, Myrrh, Clary Sage, Patchouli and Rockrose.
Machrie Shaving Soap
Machrie shave soap has been specially formulated to produce a rich lather which is very slick and leaves the face feeling moisturised after shaving.
This luxury shaving soap is packaged in a stylish shave bowl that looks like a rock, in fact it's made from stone resin. Machrie shaving Soap Refills are available.

The Lochranza Fragrance
This is a modern, contemporary fragrance designed to appeal to men and women as an alternative to the Machrie fragrance. Lochranza is a classic sensual fragrant mix of Patchouli, Bay and Anise on a base of Cedar and Vetiver.
Expect a woody, spicy scent with hints of lemon and patchouli which blended together are a hit with men and woman of all ages.
Lochranza Shaving Soap
Lochranza shaving soap has been formulated to produce a first rate, rich, thick lather, that invigorates the skin and moisturises at the same time.
