Hand Luggage Restrcitions at U.K. Airports
As a guide to help you, please find below the current hand luggage restrictions at all U.K. airports, as supplied by the government website GOV.UK.

Restrictions on taking liquids through security:

All perfumes, toiletries, oils, creams (including sunscreen), lotions, mascara and lip gloss are classed as liquids.

You can only take liquids through security in your hand luggage if the individual container holds no more than 100ml. All containers needs to be secured in a single transparent, resealable plastic bag, that is approx. 20cm x 20cm and holds no more than 1 litre. All contents must fit comfortably inside this bag. PLEASE NOTE: You must be able to seal the bag and you are limited to only one bag per person.

Liquids in containers greater that 100ml generally can't go through, even if they are only part full.

You can take liquid containers larger than 100ml through security if they:
- are for essential medical purposes
- are for special dietary requirements
- contain baby food or baby milk

You can also take liquids bought at an airport or on a plane (eg Duty Free) through security if:
- the items are sealed inside a security bag when you buy them
- the receipt for the items is sealed in the security bag and visible

You must not open the security bag until you reach your final destination. Airport staff may need to open the items to screen the liquid at the security point.
