Yardley is a name that is famous worldwide for its range of Brilliantine, fragrances and soaps.
Established in the 17th Century, Jonathan Yardley obtained a Royal Warrant to supply soap to the city of London. Sadly the company was lost during the Great Fire of London in 1666, however, it was revived in 1770 by the Cleaver family. Eventually through shrewd business and marriage the Yardley family gained control of the company. Over the next 240 years the company expanded its range of fine soaps and fragrances, developed export markets in North America and expanded around the world. Today Yardley of London is justifiably proud of its heritage and lineage few others can aspire to. The top selling Yardley Brilliantine is scented with English Lavender, it's the original Brilliantine and many say the very best you can buy.
