'Mountain Mike' has over 30 years experience in leather crafts and has spent these years in his workshop and retail store in the beautiful mile-high Idyllwild in California. Every item that Mountain Mike produces, whether it be a leather pouch, a leather hat, bracelet or one of our fantastic leather hanging strops, is hand-crafted by Mike himself and represents the finest quality money can buy.

We, at Executive Shaving are delighted to have two of Mountain Mike's strops in stock:

1. The All Leather Latigo Leather Strop - with a workable area of 23" x 3", the all leather strop is a beast! In fact, it is actually two strops joined together. One side is made from Prime Quality Black Latigo Leather, the other side from Plain Cow Hide Leather.

2. The Latigo Leather and Fabric Strop - with a workable area of 17" x 3", this too is a serious bit of kit! In fact, it is actually two strops joined together. One side is made from Prime Quality Black Latigo Leather, the other side from fabric webbing.

Both of these strops are suitable for stropping straight razors and surgical tools to keep them in pristine condition and come complete with a swivel clasp allowing you to clip onto a hook or to a round clasp, and the handle is finished with three sturdy rivets.

As these strops have been made by hand, they may have little blemishes on them such as marks on the leather but nothing will detract from the effectiveness and longevity of this wonderful hand made strop - Mountain Mike stands behind all of his work 100%!
