Arran Aromatics Driftwood Post Shave Balm

After shaving it is vitally important that you use a post shave balm to revitalise, nourish and soothe your skin. A good quality post shave balm will reduce any razor burn and prevent any skin irritation from developing.

Here at Executive Shaving we stock a wide range of post shave balms, however, I have recently started to use the Arran Aromatics Driftwood post shave balm and I have been pleasantly surprised at just how good it really is.

Driftwood Post Shave Balm

This fragrance was first launched back in 2012 by Arran Aromatics as an alternative to their popular Bay Citrus fragrance range. The original inspiration for the new fragrance came from the miles of coastline that surrounds the Isle of Arran.

Notes of ambergris heart, labdanum, myrrh, clary sage, patchouli, origanum and menthol have all been expertly blended and balanced together to create a wonderfully modern and contemporary fragrance.

A Thick, Rich Balm, That Really Does The Job

I typically use this balm just after shaving when my skin is almost dry. I find that using a pea sized amount and massaging it in to my face and neck really helps to reduce any irritation I might get from shaving.

I love the thick, velvety richness of this balm, it really feels as though it is going to do your skin some good. Unlike a few other balms I've tried I find it absorbs into the skin easily and there is no greasy residue left over. The Driftwood fragrance is also really appealing, not being sweet and flowery, but more subtle, so it doesn't mask or clash with my aftershave.

It is also great value too, I think it is one of our best balms available on the website.
