Desert Ironwood is very rare, it's only found in the Sonoran Dessert, Arizona, USA. Desert Ironwood is extremely dense, it actually sinks in water!

The Silvertip Badger Brush is so called because of the silver colour of the tip of the hair. Super Badger Hair is often used outwith the UK as a term for Silvertip hair.
Silvertip Badger Hair is ultra soft and very flexible, guaranteeing years of luxurious shaving. The reason why Silvertip and Super Badger Hair shaving brushes are more expensive than other types of shaving brushes is down to the fact that the hair for these brushes comes only from the neck of the badger which is softer and retains more water than hair from other parts of the badger.
Badger hair is imported from Asia where the hair is a waste product of badger meat.
