This 3" Extra Wide stone is the best choice for larger or wider items such as block plane blades and chisels. The 4000/8000 Combination Grit stones will both maintain and refine a basic working edge, and apply the polished razor-sharp finished edge. Start off with the 4000 grit side and finish off on the 8000 grit face.
This Waterstone now includes a Mini Sharpening Station which serves as both a firm base to hold the hone while in use and a secure storage box to protect your waterstone when not in use.
