Hand held Leather Strop and Honing Stone - Made in Germany

This high quality German Made Hand Held Leather Strop and Honing Stone is used for honing (sharpening) the edge of the blade when it dulls.

Simply wet the honing stone side prior to honing, then use an abrasive paste (green) on the leather side to further refine the edge.
Note that after honing and fine refinement of the edge of the blade, stropping with a hanging leather and canvas strop is still required prior to the shave.
