Small Leather and Canvas Hanging strop
The Leather and canvas hanging strop is used for daily stropping prior to shaving.
Use canvas side for coarse edge alignment stropping (with or without white paste) then leather side for fine edge alignment stropping prior to the shave.
Leather side may be used with or without non abrasive paste (Yellow); this maintains the quality of the leather and prevents drying out.
It must be remembered that the purpose of stropping is not to remove material, but rather to straighten up and align the microscopic teeth that are at the edge of the blade.
Workable length is 12 inches.
Workable width is 1.75 inches.
