Both the razor and the brush are made from rare bog oak. Bog oak is a European white oak tree that has been preserved by being buried in a bog. The surface of the wooden handles may not be perfectly smooth but slightly textured. These are not imperfections but the nature of the bog oak.
The set is completed with a handsome chrome shaving stand which measures 85 mm high and 105 mm at its widest point.
