Designed in late 2010, the Merkur 43C is the latest addition to the range of Merkur double edge safety razors. Weighing 150 grams, the Merkur 43 is one of the heaviest safety razors made.

The Merkur 43C is a two piece razor which comprises of the standard Merkur chrome plated closed comb head and the long, heavy stainless steel handle.

Changing blades is easy with the Merkur 43C, simply turn the base of the handle anti clockwise, lift the head off, remove / drop in the blade and screw back together.
