I would just like to commend you on some first class customer service I received today. After ordering some Bay Citrus Body Splash this morning, I received a telephone call from one of your staff (I didn't manage to catch the gentleman's name) who informed me that the product was actually out of stock. He ran through two similar alternatives that he thought I might like, both of which were of a higher value than the product i had ordered, and said that I could have one for the lower price that I had paid.

After over thirty long, tedious years of dragging countless cheap plastic supermarket razors (by any other name) across my poor, fat, old jowls... (man & boy, that equates with well over 10,000 mornings of grudging disillusionment) I'd finally had enough - daddy always said I was bit slow!

I bought a German Muhle Travel Shave Set, delivery charges to USA are very high at 15.00 UK Pounds. Received my first DE machine, a Mühle D89 grande with a TOBS Eton College. Excellent combo. Superb service and best prices available. I'll buy next time some other items. Is impossible to find classic shaving products in this country.

I knew of your company but never really thought any more about it ,but recently I have been finding it increasingly harder to find a good shave product without spending a small fortune and I was overjoyed when I found your outlet and the amazing range of products you offer !

Paul spent a good 30minutes with me asking about my shave technique and what I was looking for out of my shave regime. He suggested a few items which I bought , but I was pleased with the way I was dealt with and also not being strong armed into the most expensive products ,but to try ones that would best suit my skin type and also budget.

The world of DE shaving is so addictive, so many great shaving creams and soaps to try and high quality DE razors as well (and some wonderful vintage items all expertly restored).

A lot of people talk about the financial benefits of using a DE razor versus the Gillette counterpart, so I thought it would be interesting to do the exercise for myself and treat the exercise as an investment decision.

Here's what I found.

If you assume you buy a reasonable DE razor for £50 and a Brush of £35, Shaving soap for £9 and just buy one blade for 20 pence, your upfront costs are about £94.20. To buy a Gillette Fusion Power razor some foam and 1 blade costs you £17.86.

So in upfront costs you need to spend £76.34 more on a DE razor.

Now if you look at the annual renewal costs of each of these types of shaving you find that the DE method costs about £20.1 a year if you shave 6 times a week and change your blade after 4 shaves, and use half a shaving soap a year. Gilette comes in at £100.22 a year. This assumes you get 10 shaves per blade and you shave 6 times a week. It assumes you have to buy a new razor every three years and that you buy 4 cans of foam a year. (Altogether not unrealistic)

This means that each year that you shave with DE, you save 80.12. So is this a worthwhile investment. If you assume inflation at 3% and discount the cash flow over 20 years, that £76.34 investment is worth over £1,000 (Net present value) to you in today’s money! Or an Internal rate of return (IRR) of over 105%.

Basically if you were a private equity business and this was an investment deal, the project would be a go.

I have used your website a few times. Aside from the products (which speak for themselves) its the small detail such as how quickly you responded to my email which makes the difference. Customer service is just as important as price!

Executive Shaving provided for me my best ever online shoping experience, good advice over 4 or 5 emails, a telephone call from me then I made my order online at 11.00 on a Thursday, I had my new shaving kit at 9.00 on Friday morning. 10/10.

Brian, It has been a few weeks now since I started shaving with my DE razor and decided to write about my experiences.
As a 40+ age gent I had been shaving with a multi blade razor for some time and due to shaving rashes and the continual increase in the cost, I decided to look for an alternative.

I found Executive Shaving online and decided to visit for some one to one advice. You recommended a DE razor, some Proraso Shaving cream, a Badger hair brush and Proraso pre and post shave cream. I watched the video on your website and others for some general advice.

After having used the products daily for some 4 weeks, I can honestly say that I now enjoy shaving again. It does take me a little longer, but it is worth the time. I have found that the Proraso pre and post cream is amazing, it also took a few shaves to find the blades that suit me.
I would urge anyone considering trying a DE razor not to delay, I wish I had used it years ago, I have no shaving rash or ingrown hairs and my face is smoother than ever after my shave.

On the recommendation of Brian, I purchased a Cobra razor with Feather Lite blades and a tub of Fitjar Citrus Kick shaving cream.I cn honestly say that I have never had such a superb, comfortable and close shave in my life and I would recommend this combination to everyone, the only modification I have made to Brian's recommendation is that I also use Castle Forbes pre-shave gel which gives extra glide to the razor. As Brian mentioned when we were discussing the order, the Cobra razor is a very aggressive razor when used with its normal blade, the Feather Professional, and for someone with a not too heavy beard growth, he recommended Feather Lite blades and I would certainly endorse this recommendation. All in all this is a wonderful combination.
